about the artist

ME
I’m a psychologist, designer & synesthesia artist from Southern Germany. I spent most of my professional life in Austria and am now based between Innsbruck, Austria and Edinburgh, UK.

SYNESTHESIA
When I was 7 yo my parents discovered that I had grapheme-colour-synesthesia. Thanks to all the great ressources out there I now know that I have at least 15 different forms of synesthesia. It’s truly amazing to learn how your own perception of the world differs from the ones around you.

BRAND
synesthes_a is meant to be an educational and creative space for myself and other synesthetes. It combines my two biggest interests psychology & design.
